Storey's Afghan Knits
18 contemporary designs using Rowan Yarns.
(A note
from Martin Storey) – One of the reasons I love designing
and knitting Afghans is the wonderful flexibility they offer.
Because the patterns are so straightforward, you can go to town
on a range of textured stitches or brilliant colourways, or
a combination of the two. Projects of Afghan squares are also
very portable so you can knit on trains, boats and planes, in
the lunch break, or on the beach, your knitting project fitting
conveniently into a small bag. For knitting addicts what could
be more enticing, and for novice knitters what could be simpler?
My aim in this book is to provide designs with a contemporary
twist that add personality, or a touch of glamour.
